SHARE THE LOVE!!! This a free, family-friendly event to raise awareness about breast milk donation, screen potential and future donors, and to COLLECT milk for Mothers Milk Bank!  www.mothersmilk.org

Did you know here in Southern California we have the most requests for and receive the most amount of donor milk? Did you know as a region we donate the least? That’s right! We USE the MOST milk but we DONATE the LEAST! Let’s change that. Let’s be… Mothers Helping Mothers Nourish Our Neediest.

Representatives from Mothers’ Milk Bank will be there to educate us on milk donation, milk preparation process, to screen donors, and to collect your precious milk – truly MIRACLE working milk for preterm and critically ill babies in our hospital NICUs. Mothers’ Milk Bank is a not-for-profit milk bank and the only one in California accredited by the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA).

BRING YOUR PROPERLY STORED MILK TO DONATE!!!

Pauline Sakamoto, Executive Director of Mothers Milk Bank and President of HMBANA, will be in attendance. She’ll speak, as well as representative NICU nurses from Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and the actual moms who have received and who have donated milk!

Snacks, door prizes, giveaways, kids activity, resources – please join us!! All are welcome.
